When we sit and plan for our holidays in nature, guess what would be our options? It would be Shimla, Manali, Mussurie, Nainital and few other serene places because there is some unexplored peace and tranquility of the place and feel like lying on the snow and watching the masterpiece painting of the God. From children to adults, the places have so much to offer to everyone. So if you are planning to visit Himachal Pradesh, then here the places you need to surely visit and the places, where you can put your shelter.
The major places to visit during your Shimla-Manali tour are:-
Hidimba Devi Temple– The temple is an ancient cave dedicated to the Hidimba Devi, the wife of Bheem and the mother of Ghatotkach, the famous character in Mahabharata. The temple is surrounded by the Kedar trees and is a platform between the ancient and the modern civilization. Hundreds of visitors pay their visit to this divine deity.
Rohtang Pass– Beas kund, Dassaur Lake and the panoramic view of the enchanting mountains 3979 meters above the sea level, this could be a perfect definition for the Rohtang Pass. The place remains cold even during the summers and is one of the most visited tourist spot in Manali.
Solang Valley- An eye captivating and rare view of the glaciers can be seen in Solang valley, often called Snow Point, which makes it a must visit place for the voyager. The valley is an epitome of rarely seen eternal beauty dispensing a feeling of tourist in the land of god.
These have been just few flagship destinations in Manali, but there is a plethora of such destinations such as Maa Sherawali Temple, Rahala waterfalls, etc. Now the major concern is the lodging, well it totally depends on the personal choice, but my experience says enjoyment must be on the heavier side compared to price. For the last three times, I am booking my Shimla Manali package with Ooak hotels and found it extremely convincing.
The utmost hospitality, unmatched services and all these without burning your pocket makes it my favorite. So whenever you feel left out, low in confidence, visit Himachal Pradesh and traverse around the place holding the God’s arm.
